RAILS WERE PLACED AT THEIR ORIGINAL POSITION

RACE NO.1 (122) THE KUMAR R. DALAL GOLD TROPHY : (ABOUT) 1600 METRES- RUNNERS - 5

After being stalled ,ZAFFERANO (P.Trevor , dr 2) was fractious and thereafter lost about three lengths at the start. As such, Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the colt to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials before next accepting to race.

Passing the 400 meters, OPUS DEI (Neeraj Rawal) drifted out thereby carrying ZAFFERANO (P.Trevor) outwards. Jockey Neeraj Rawal has been cautioned.

After the race, Jockey Yash Narredu (KINGS GAMBIT) reported loss of whip passing the 300 meters. This being his first instance in the current Mumbai Meeting 2025 – 26. As such, no action has been initiated however, he has been cautioned.

After the race, the Sr V.O reported the following :

FORTUNATE SON was trotted and found to be sound.

ZAFFERANO was trotted and found to be sound.

RACE NO. 2 (123) THE MYSTICAL TROPHY : (ABOUT) 2400 METRES - RUNNERS - 7

It was observed in the paddock that Jockey David Allan sported the wrong racing colors on his mount CACCINI. The same was bought to the attention of the Stipendiary Stewards, as Trainer Karthik Ganapathy could not furnish the correct racing colors , Jockey David Allan raced in the Emergency Colors i,e. ALL BLACK. As such, Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been fined Rs 1,000/- for his lapse and the Clerk of the Scales has been cautioned.

Soon after the start, ALLEZ L’ETOILE (A.Prakash) shifted in and went across LITTLE JOHN (P.Trevor) who was marginally slow to begin. Jockey A. Prakash has been cautioned.

Passing the 450 meters, HARRISON (Aditya Waydande) leaned in thereby tightening BLACK THUNDER (Prashant P. Dhebe) causing the latter to be steadied. App Aditya Waydande has been cautioned.

Passing the 300 meters ALLEZ L’ETOILE (A. Prakash) drifted out under pressure thereby carrying DIEGO GARCIA (Suraj Narredu) outwards. After the race, on questioning Jockey A. Prakash stated that his mount was inclined outwards in the straight despite his efforts. As such, Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race.

Jockey Suraj Narredu was observed to have used the whip in an improper manner on his mount DIEGO GARCIA. This being his first offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2025-26. As such ,he has been fined Rs. 3,000/-

After the race, the Sr VO reported the following :

DIEGO GARCIA was observed to have a gum injury.

HARRISON was observed to have a gum injury.

LITTLE JOHN was trotted and was found to be sound but was observed to have injuries on both its hind pasterns.

CHICAGO CHIMES was trotted and found to be sore by left fore. As such, the gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

RACE NO.3 (124) THE DR. GOOLAM E. VAHANVATI TROPHY: (ABOUT) 1600 METRES -RUNNERS -14

Trainer P. S. Chouhan has been fined Rs. 3,000/- for putting in a late declaration of his charge CORNERSTONE.

GOLD BAR refused to be stalled despite substantial efforts. As such, the filly was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under the Starters order.Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter at the morning starting trials before next accepting to race.

MARIUS was reluctant to be stalled. As such, Trainer P. Shroff has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at the morning starting trials before next accepting to race.

Passing the 600 meters, EKATARINA (Neeraj Rawal) shifted out at the same time MARIUS (A.Prakash) shifted in thereby tightening and inconviencing MAI TAI (S.Zervan) racing between them causing the latter to be steadied. Jockey Neeraj Rawal and Jockey A. Prakash have been cautioned.

After the Race, the Jockeys reported the following :

K Nazil (LICKETY SPLIT) reported that his mount was inclined outwards throughout the Race despite his efforts. As such, Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to Race.

Antony Raj S reported that the saddle used on his mount MERCHANT OF VENICE shifted in front passing the 1200 metres. This being the first instance of faulty saddling in the current Mumbai Meeting 2025 -26 .Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been fined Rs 2,000/- for his lapse.

After the race, the Sr VO reported the following :

MAI TAI was trotted and found to be sound.

LUCA was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not permitted to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. As such, the horse has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

CORNERSTONE was trotted and was found to be sore by left fore. As such, the gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

RACE NO.4 (125) THE INTERVALVE POONAWALLA LTD. TROPHY : (ABOUT) 1200 METRES – RUNNERS - 10

In the process of stalling PINNACLE rushed the front gate and came out, subsequently the filly was apprehended and re-stalled.

After being stalled, ORGANISED CHAOS (P. Trevor dr. 4) was fractious and reared up. As such, Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the colt to the satisfaction of the Starter at the morning starting trials before next accepting to race.

Soon after the start, PINNACLE (Yash Narredu) shifted in sharply and went across SIR CHURCHILL (Akshay Kumar) and JANHAVI (Mustakim Alam), causing both horses to be steadied. After questioning and not being satisfied with the explanation, Jockey Yash Narredu has been fined Rs 5,000/-

Passing the 1000 meters SIR CHURCHILL (Akshay Kumar) shifted in and went across JANHAVI causing the latter to check and change course thereby carrying SCORCHER outwards. After questioning and not being satisfied with the explanation, Jockey Akshay Kumar has been fined Rs 3,000/-

Jockey Yash Narredu (PINNACLE) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit. This being his second offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2025 – 26, as such he has been fined Rs. 5,000/-

Jockey Vivek G. (BRAVION) was observed to have used the whip in an improper manner. This being his first offence, he has been fined Rs. 3,000/- He was also observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit. This being his second offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2025 – 26, he has been fined Rs. 5,000/-

After the race the Sr. VO reported the following :

SIR CHURCHILL was observed to have a gum injury.

ORGANISED CHAOS was trotted and found to be sound.

PINNACLE was trotted and found to be sound.

RACE NO. 5 (126) THE POONAWALLA BREEDERS' MULTI-MILLION (GRADE 1) : (ABOUT) 1400 METRES – RUNNERS - 9

At the start BUCKINGHAM (Anthony Raj S, dr 4) jumped inwards onto QUEEN OF BEAUTIES (Akshay Kumar) causing the latter to be steadied.

Approaching the 300 meters, INVICTOR (David Allan) drifted out under pressure and went across RAMBO (T.S.Jodha) causing the latter to check and change course , thereafter INVICTOR further drifted out thereby carrying BUCKINGHAM (Anthony Raj S) outwards. After the race, Jockey David Allan reported that his mount was inclined outwards in the straight despite his efforts, as such Trainer Altamaash A. Ahmed has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race.

Jockey Vivek G. (MARGARETTA) was observed to have stopped riding and put his hands down before crossing the winning post. As such, he is being fined Rs 2,000/-

After the race, Jockey Antony Raj S (BUCKINGHAM) reported that his mount was hanging-in in the straight despite his efforts, Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race.

After the race the Sr. VO reported the following :

BUCKINGHAM was trotted and found to be sound but was observed to have an injury on its right fore cannon.

RACE NO. 6 (127) THE FLORRIE AND FREDDY SOPHER GOLD TROPHY : (ABOUT) 1200 METRES - RUNNERS - 10

At the start CHARLIE BROWN (Akshay Kumar drawn 9) jumped inwards, at the same time JOONDALUP (P.Trevor drawn 8) jumped outwards and they made contact.

At the start, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED (Anthony Raj S ,dr 10) jumped out awkwardly.

Soon after the start, STORM CLOUD (Bharat Singh) shifted out and went across MOONLIGHT KISS (Mustakim Alam) who was marginally slow to begin.

After the race Jockey R. Ajinkya (VEGATHA) reported that his mount was hanging-in in the straight despite his efforts, as such Trainer P. S. Chouhan has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race.

After the race the Sr. VO reported the following :

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED was trotted and found to be sound.

ARIYANA STAR was trotted and found to be sound.

RACE NO. 7 (128) THE CORFE CASTLE TROPHY 1200 METRES - RUNNERS – 6

At the start, CREDENCE (Aditya Waydande , dr 3) was observed to have lost its footing thereby losing about a length at the start.

Approaching the 300 meters IRISH GOLD (Akshay Kumar) drifted out thereby carrying MARKET KING (Vivek G) outwards, Jockey Akshay Kumar has been cautioned.

After the race Jockey Prashant P. Dhebe (FONTANA) reported that his mount was hanging-in in the straight despite his efforts, Trainer P. S. Chouhan has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to Race.

After the race the Sr. VO reported the following :

FONTANA was trotted and found to be sound.

CREDENCE was trotted at the stables and was found to be sound.

RACE NO.8 (129) THE HONG KONG JOCKEY CLUB TROPHY: (ABOUT) 1400 METRES - RUNNERS - 10

At the start MACHIAVELLIAN (Antony Raj S, drawn 7) jumped inwards and made contact with RED MERLOT (App. Bharat Singh)

Jockey Vivek G. (MA CHERIE) reported that his mount was hanging-in in the straight despite his efforts. Trainer Sangramsinh Joshi has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race.

RE:MERCY PETITION LODGED BY JOCKEY A.SANDESH IN RESPECT OF THE SUSPENSION IMPOSED ON HIM BY THE STEWARDS OF THE CLUB FOR A PERIOD OF 12 DAYS I,E. W.E.F. 21ST JANUARY 2026 TO 29TH MARCH 2026 (BOTH DAYS INCLUSIVE) AND TO FINE A SUM OF RS. 1,00,000/- - RE : ENQUIRY INTO THE RUNNING AND RIDING OF “BEZALEL” (DRAWN - 8) IN RACE NO. 42 – THE SYNTHESIS TROPHY (DIV. The Stewards at their meeting held on 22^nd February, 2026, having considered the submissions made by Jockey A. Sandesh, after due delebration, decided to revise the period of the suspension of his Jockeys License and accordingly his license shall now remain suspended upto Sunday, 8^th March, 2026.

RE: ENQUIRY INTO THE RUNNING AND RIDING OF “FOXY” (DRAWN 04) IN RACE NO.112 - THE BYRAM N. JEEJEEBHOY TROPHY - DIST 1000 MTRS : RUN ON 12^TH FEBRUARY 2026 :

In connection with the captioned subject matter, the Stewards of the Club at their meeting held on 22^nd February 2026, having heard the submissions made by App S. Siddharth, Master Trainer P. Shroff and Trainer Behram Cama, as also the Stipendiary Stewards, having viewed the video recording of the race in question, having deliberated the matter at length. The Stewards were not satisfied with the explanation tendered by App. S. Siddharth. In that, he was instructed to sit in 3^rd, 4^th position and do his best in the straight. However, considering that he had received an interference soon after the start, he made no efforts to improve his position and sit as instructed despite having ample opportunity to do so, thereby placing his mount at a disadvantage. Moreover Trainer Behram Cama and his Master Trainer P. Shroff also expressed their dissatisfaction with App. S. Siddharth. However, keeping in mind that he is an upcoming Apprentice, the Stewards decided by majority to suspend his Jockey’s License for two Race Days i,e. 7^th and 8^th March, 2026 for incompetent riding.
